Shunde in Guangong

Shunde – does anyone know where that place is? Well, I don’t, and I don’t know what is there in Shunde anyway, but all I know is that Shunde is in Guangdong province in China, and I got here from Hong Kong by taking a boat that sort of make me a little dizzy along a way that I have to take a nap. The boat was funny though, as it has 3 classes as far as I can tell. One class is regular, and people sit in the lower deck of the boat. The next one is first class, where people sit at the upper deck. I am not sure if there is a difference, except that they might bring you food if you order them in the upper deck, while in lower, you might have to go and fetch the food yourself. There is this VIP deck, which people can sit in a private room or something, but I am not really sure. Anyway, on the drive from the ferry terminal in Shunde to the hotel that we are staying at, it was not that exciting. There are a bunch of farms and very rural looking houses and stuff. There are just a lot of emptiness, so really rather boring. However, I am stuck here for 2 days, so I am glad that I bought some DVDs to watch so I will not be bored. Also, the internet isn’t working all that well either, so I cannot really do work online. However, I think I need to find some way to do some work, since there are so much to be done over the next couple of days before I go on vacation.
