Taboo

You know why I sometimes hate New York City??? It is because it is such a PAIN to ran errands or buy a certain item. So, having played the game TABOO last weekend at my friend's birthday party, and wanting to buy one for myself, I spend the ENTIRE AFTERNOON, yes, the WHOLE AFTERNOON, the WHOLE 5 HOURS of my precious time, going all over the city to try to buy the game TABOO.

I thought this was just going to be a simple task, you know, go to Toys R Us and pick it up, the whole thing will take like 15 mins minus the traveling time. But NOOOOOOOOOOOO, Toys R Us don't have it, then what to do?? Is there any other toy stores in the city that might carry the game?? I went to FAO Schwartz, and gee, what a surprise, they don't have it too. I then went to Borders, Barnes and Nobles, K-Mart, walked around the NYU area looking at the random shops, and NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, no one sells Taboo. I mean, seriously, how hard is it to buy one simple game, it is not like I am trying to get an XBOX 360. I mean, I think buying Taboo is even harder than buying XBOX 360 in this city. You know where to go to buy XBOX 360. Granted, XBOX 360 are all sold out all over the place, but hey, at least before it was sold out, you know where to go, you can actually even reserve one. But do you know where to go if you want to buy Taboo outside of Toys R Us???? Can you reserve a copy of Taboo in advance???

What is supposingly a routine task turns out to be a quest in search of Taboo. Now I guess I have no choice but to buy online and have them delivered to me and since i am cheap and want to use the cheapest delivery method available, it will take a week to get it..........
