First Time Excitement

Something exciting happened today. Something that I have never done before happened today. I am talking about going to Taiwan. No, not just merely visiting Taiwan, which I have done many times, and as recently as 2 or 3 weekends (I forgot) ago. Instead, it is about the immigration form that I fill out everytime that I came back to Taiwan. I always check the box that says I am visiting Taiwan for pleasure or visiting family, but today, for the first time, I am checking that box that says "BUSINESS". Wow, don't I feel important, traveling to Taiwan for business.

Haha, I know, very stupid more things, but hey, I find excitements in the tiniest things. For example, today is also the first time that I left Hong Kong by using the "Hong Kong resident" line, which moves a lot faster than the visitors line (like 50 times faster, since there was no line). Also, today was the first time that I went into the Cathay Pacific First Class Lounge at the Hong Kong airport, and also, the first time that I flew Business Class for a flight from Hong Kong to Taiwan, which takes like 1 hour (not exactly seeing too much of an advantage of flying business class in this situation, except that they feed you better). So many first today. Oh yeah, also, I stayed at the Grand Hyatt Taipei for the first time. I visited this hotel many times, not to stay, but to eat here, but today, I am actually staying here, which I have to stay, is just ok . . . . . The room is not as nice as some of the other hotels that I have stayed at. Oh well, given the so many "first" today, I guess you cannot win them all.

you are so lucky - but guess it is also the first time that you posh suitcare broke while travelling, and you can just run "home" and grab another one!
